Wedding Greetings...

This is the first week that I've been back from vacation. It was a great trip, full of busy but fun days for sure. The main reason I went on this trip was for my dear cousin's wedding. He is one year younger than me and we have been like brother and sister for many years. We grew up together, although we were a country apart. He lives in New Jersey and I live in California. Somehow, whenever we would go there, or they would visit, we would always pick up where we left off. Sometimes getting along and acting goofy, or sometimes getting into little arguments, as most kids do after they've been hanging around each other for a "bit too long" in the day. One of my fondest memories was trying to see who was the first one to wake up to watch Saturday-Morning-Cartoons in our PJ's with a big bowl of Lucky Charms! Our favorite show to watch was Muppet-Babies, remember that? Awesome show! Anyhow, I digress down memory lane. :) The reason why I wanted to share this with you is because I made a card for him, of course!! Not only did I make one for our gift, but one for my parents to give as well. Check out the pics and let me know what you think. It truly was a special occasion and I enjoyed spending time to make these cards. I wanted them to be just perfect. I went ahead and posted a few pictures of the cards as well as the lovely wedding! As always, I value your feedback. Enjoy!

The card I designed for my parents to give as a gift...

Paper used is a pearlescent champaign color base card-stock with a vellum sash embellished with gold glitter vines. Inside the card is lined with vellum, left blank for a special message. The  gold flourish seal is a gold linen textured card-stock adorned with a handmade vellum flower. It is topped with an amber gem. The card was designed to securely accomodate a gift-check.

The Card I designed for our gift...

Paper used is a pearlescent champaign color base card-stock with a handmade red sash embellished with gold dabs.  I used the same red paper to make the envelope seal flourish. The sash is also embellished with gold glitter tape.  Inside the card is lined with vellum, where I printed a special message for the happy couple. I also punched out 2 hearts on the lower right of the vellum sheet. The square seal is backed with dark red card-stock, gold linen textured card-stock, the pearlescent card-stock and adorned with the handmade red and gold-dab paper. The card was designed to securely accomodate a gift-check. The envelope is a metallic dark gold finishing touch.
